[{"data":1,"prerenderedAt":-1},["ShallowReactive",2],{"$fGvSxhD11ebAzghBFXbucoriogbmfK1vgo06E96h86bI":3},{"id":4,"title":5,"slug":6,"content":7,"excerpt":5,"publishedAt":8,"thumbnail":9,"tags":10},"98","SAI Ghana Participates in AFROSAI-E 2026 Regional Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Workshop","sai-ghana-participates-in-afrosai-e-2026-regional-communication-and-stakeholder-engagement-workshop","\u003Cp>The Ghana Audit Service (SAI Ghana) participated in the \u003Cstrong>AFROSAI-E 2026 Regional Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Workshop\u003C\u002Fstrong> held in Kampala, Uganda, from \u003Cstrong>29 June to 3 July 2026\u003C\u002Fstrong>.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>The workshop brought together communication practitioners from Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) across the AFROSAI-E region to enhance their knowledge and skills in strategic communication and stakeholder engagement, while creating a platform for participants to share experiences and best practices.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Participating countries included \u003Cstrong>Angola, Eswatini, The Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>The five-day programme covered key areas such as strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, media relations, digital communication, internal communication, international relations, and measuring stakeholder satisfaction.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Participants gained practical insights into how the \u003Cstrong>Office of the Auditor General (OAG) Uganda\u003C\u002Fstrong> carries out these functions through presentations and experience-sharing sessions led by officials of the institution.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>The sessions highlighted how effective communication and stakeholder engagement contribute to enhancing the visibility and impact of audit institutions.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>The workshop also provided an opportunity for participants to exchange ideas on effective ways of communicating audit findings, strengthening relationships with stakeholders, and improving public confidence in SAIs.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Interactive sessions encouraged peer learning and discussions on innovative approaches to making audit work more visible, understandable, and relevant to citizens.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>The knowledge and practical lessons gained from the workshop are expected to strengthen communication and stakeholder engagement within the Audit Service, enhance public awareness of the Auditor-General’s mandate.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>The Audit Service remains committed to improving communication and stakeholder engagement to promote accountability, transparency, and good governance in the management of public resources.\u003C\u002Fp>","2026-07-28","\u002Fuploads\u002Fimages\u002F20260728-9507454b-005e-471b-a6ca-898a8c56f1a7.jpg",[]]
